I was writing up some advice, but in reality each community is different in reddit, what might work in one will burn in another.

Social media is definitely a tool we need to use, but I think I jumped the gun on how easy it was because I got lucky with a couple of posts.

I tried Reddit before, /motovlogs is just bad, people just post their vlogs (me aswel) and don't look any further. And /motorcycles seems to just erase every OC content if they see if it comes from a "public figure" An avarage joe can post his bike no problem. When I did with my custom taillights on my 08 zx6r it got deleted for self promotion XD
