Does any one else get lack of motivation when it comes to editing?

Just the thought of staring at the screen and listening to the same sound bites over and over gives me a head ache. Once I get into it, I'm golden but getting to it is a pain.

When I have misspoken and I want to edit it out, Trying to cut audio precisely can be a bitch, and you'll find yourself listening to the same for words over and over. Just hoping it sounds okay to someone who hasn't heard the original cut.

I call it editor's block. I studied editing in college and when I wasn't into it my edit was crap. When it was good it all just flowed together...but yeah listening to the same clip over and over will drive ya crazy at some point!

Edit the easy/good bits first then you will want to finish it

there are days when you just say fuckit and want to get back in the bed....
Other days i cant edit enough


try taking different routes etc. spice up your views a bit

sometimes I like to think i'm on a beach. play some ocean sounds and close my eyes. Then I realize I haven't gotten any editing done and cry myself back to trimming the videos

I haven't done any editing in a month and now have shit loads of footage to go through...longer I leave it the less I want to do it.
Xmas hols will give me time to get my act together...hopefully.

I've done 3, the first one drove me absolutely bonkers as I tried to get used to editing footage.
My most recent 2 have been easy and quite fun when I've got into it. I think it depends on my mood and quality of footage tbh

I'm always keen on editing my videos. However some VLOGs turn out to be boring so I just do them again another day.

When I'm editing my video, be sure my dog will try to distract me... Can't sit front of my screen for more than 5 minutes...
