General Roads To Remember

I went on an adventure, travelled 500+ miles round trip in a day just to ride this short road and have some nosh at the Smugglers Rest in Talland Bay!

Amazing but i have to ask, how much did that cost in fuel from where you're now.. Bet it costed a bomb or two

I think I used around 50l so roughly £60

started with an almost full tank and filled up 3 times... and each time I filled up I still had 5l left, the reserve on the V7 is stupidly large, think I could probs ride almost 100miles on reserve!

Not overly bad then. Sounds like your bike is really cautious on fuel consumption with a reserve that large haha Better than nothing tho! Sounds like a fun trip though. I've done Poole - Newton Abbot along the coast, on a hot day, the views are amazing!!

it has a 21l tank, the design spec was to allow it to do 500km on one tank of gas.... mine doesn't do that since fitting the filter and cans (don't actually think it ever did, but with only 48bhp on tap it was never gonna be a gas guzzler!

I'm guessing I am getting around 55mpg on average and I don't spare the (few) horses it has!

Ah thats fair, mine has 17.5l although i couldnt really tell you the mpg yet.. but from googling the actual average is 52mpg despite the so called 63mpg triumph claim lol (i think its 63mpg cant reallyremember lol)

technically you should have a 200 miles range at 52mpg

Yeah, im pretty sure i can push it more if i ride eco. But that..just...isnt me lol BWARRRRRRRRP! haha

hahaha, yeah know what you mean. My car sits at around 30mpg on average but I only really commute with that town driving.

Dont even own a car licence, but it would be nice, shopping would be so easier lol
