Premiere PRO cs5 or Vegas pro 11?

Well I have 'aquired' them both and used vegas for my last video but didn't realise that when i rendered it in 1080p from .mov it was a little bit 'laggy' so I did a bit of research and apparently premire pro cs5 can render at something like h.264 .mov 1080p or equivelant. Now my question is this. Is there a way of using the drift .mov files in vegas without losing quality or is there not? Or can I convert it
(I am aware though that quality is noramlly lost when doing this) to MP4 or WMV and go from there? If not then I will have to learn how to use the cs5 which confused me just by starting it :L

I reckon your .mov file is in 1080p. 1080p is a resolution, .mov is a file format. You can get 1080p MP4, 1080p .mov, 720p .mov etc.

My opinion, either software will do the job, just import the .mov file, edit it, and export it as a .mov. Bish, bash, bosh, onto YouTube

lol thats what i meant, I know 1080p isnt a format yeah but when I do it in vegas the results are lacking and there is no option to render in h264

there is no option to render in h264

It doesn't matter, just render it in .mov. YouTube accepts .mov files
