Ozarks Meetup 2013

For now, I'm going to plan on being there. That time of year is kinda sketchy for my work schedule, so I'll need to play it by ear.
 
I will put this on my calendar. I'm already planning two more trips up this year.

I have family in Bentonville, so we trailer the Duc up there and I'll ride out to Eureka and down the pig trail. I want to hit 123 and Push Mountain on my next trip, just have to see if my schedule permits it.
 
Just made my reservation, the girl said I was the first one. :?:

Anyhow, she gave me the motorcycle group discount and for registering so early (the phone rate was $10/night less than the online rate), so CALL. I mentioned that this was for the Motovlog event so she is expecting more calls. Folks - register NOW and mention you are with the Motovlog group so we can get a block of rooms together! You can always back out of the registration if needed later on.
 
I can't register yet since I have to confirm what's going on with me vacation-wise. I know I said I was a 100% for attendance but now with some life stuff I'm thinking my chance of attendance is now down to about 99.6%. Most likely I'll end up trucking the KTM down again and leaving the Connie at home. I'm tempted to gather you dirt riders together and go over to Devils Den for some trail riding.
 
I don't think anyone is ever really 100% sure they'll be there. Liz -might- be coming with me again this year, but that's looking kinda doubtful.

She seemed to have had a really good time, she had made a comment to me that those were probably the best group rides she had been on. :D

Keep your eyes peeled this winter. Can really score a nice deal if you're patient and willing to travel.
 
My thinking exactly! As soon as it starts getting cold I'm going to attack some local forums and craigslist and see if I can score me a DRZ400. Can't wait!

She did, she told me that she had a great time on the rides. Unfortunately it's not really worth the time and expense to get there from Philly. She had to borrow the trailer and wasn't impressed with how her car pulled it (even though I was..) and it cost a small fortune to get there and back. So the probability of her coming back is pretty slim.

A couple friends and I rode pretty much all of Route 1 a couple weeks ago, in the rain, lol.

Route 2 is sort of on the short side, I guess depending on the timing those that want can go for an extra afternoon ride. ;)

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe an afternoon ride to Magazine or something..
 
I may try and make it out there on Thursday and ride on Friday/Saturday and leave Sunday. I'm 99.999% sure work will want me catching a flight that afternoon.
