Folks,

I'm VERY new to this whole motovlogging thing, but damn is it addictive. I've only put up 3 viddy's on youtube and I can't get enough.

I'm not sure if my content, camera, sound, editing, riding, etc. is any good; but I'm having a great time trying to make it better. I urge anyone who is reading this to check out my youtube channel (search: brontosaurus) and let me know what you think. I'm positive my videos suck, but with some good feedback I hope they could get better.

As far as the "about me" part of this goes: I'm 30, in the Navy (so I'll be moving around a bunch showing off a lot of different areas), I'm broke-as-can-be all the time, I ride 2 bikes: '78 Yamaha Enduro and '98 Suzuki Intruder, I like tacos, I swear like a pirate, I use a gopro Hero HD, and I'm married with a kid.

I'm hoping that you guys can get me some good feedback and look forward to your critiques.

Hello Navy, coming from an Army family :) . What do you do at the navy, are you a Seabee :o ??? My great grandfather was one during WWII :p . That's pretty country you have there :) ... too bad you'll be moving soon :/ . Been there once up in the San Juan Island area - very beautiful :D !

Nice bikes you have too, btw ;) . If ever you pull into port in HK, let me know ;) ... my last time there was 1999 - so very beautiful ~o~ ~

@RoninK6-thanks for the sub! I'm about to check your channel out as soon as I'm through with this message. I'm a Hospital Corpsman (medic, sort of) for the Navy. I've worked with the Seabees quite a bit, but never been stationed with them. Good group of guy those bees, but a little different than the "regular" Navy. Don't be sad for me about the move, I'll be going on to bigger things and exploring the east coast (where I've never been before). As far as Hong Kong ports go, we'll see where the wind takes me, if everything goes as I've got it planned I'll be haze-grey and underway this time next year, so I may hit you up for a ride.
 
Found your channel and subbed, welcome! The only think i could comment on is the audio is a bit unclear, investing in a good quality mic really helps the overall quality of your videos :)

Sounds like a plan :D ! Lincoln, Nebraska - you know where to find me when ready to go for a ride :) ! The east coast, though... I haven't really on the coast - Virginia is really the only state I've been as far as being in the east, but be prepared for a little bit of a shock if you're in the NE. Traffic light, traffic light, traffic light ~o~ (even in the countryside)~.....

Thanks for the critique! I've got a better quality mic than what is in those videos, but have had nothing but terrible luck with it. First trip out, no audio; second trip out, mic was in a bad spot so all it got was engine noise; third trip out, wind!

It seems like this macs got it out for me! I layed down what I felt like was some good content, but got nothing useable outta the whole thing.

My crap mic, plugged into my phone has produced the most useable audio so far.

Hmm interesting, I was lucky enough to have a good quality setup first time round, my mic is just right at the front of my helmet, literally right in front of my mouth. Depending on your helmet you get little to no wind noise there :)
 
I've probably made a huge mistake, but I moved my whole channel from brontosaurus to Mustache Assault Cycle.

I hated brontosaurus and I wanted to change it from the minute I started it, so here we are. Please follow me on my new channel, I've got ideas for the direction my channel is going to take, so if you follow me on this journey, it might be fun.
