New to motovlogging

Its a lot of fun. I have shot over 100 gig of video on my sony action cam after purchasing for $130 a couple weeks ago. I've been working on motovlogs this past week, although its been getting into the 30's here I'm still trying to get out there and find my rhythm. I really enjoy the process. I think motovlogging if nothing else shows you what type of person you are, and who you want to be especially when discussing items via stream of consciousness.

I included my channel in my sig. My newest video I was able to square away most of my audio issues. I added an intro and added some slight tweaks in magix. I have a few ideas of what I should be doing / talking about / trying to progress towards making a short listenable piece of material.

I have been using MAGIX and so far it works for what I need it for. I'm sure there are way more advanced apps out there but I have this one and I still have a ton to learn about editing, placement, effect, audio tuning etc...

My setup is:

Sony Action Cam on newest firmware
Olympus ME-52W Mic
HJC IS-16 Helmet
about 4sq inches of microfiber around the mic with the included filter stuffed by my left temple in the small cavity where the latch attaches to the helmet chassis. This helped cut down on the vibrations from my voice reverberating in the helmet making audio bassy.

While I wish I had a KLR650/DR650 or something similar to have more adventure motovlogs right now I'm rocking a new Concours 14 so I cant complain to much Goof thing about the concours is that its completely silent, you hear the shaft drive over the motor in most videos.

Thanks Tim, I have very very limited wheelie experience but the long wheelbase makes it a little awkward to get to the balance point I haven't tried shifting into 2nd yet.

im trying to learn as well clutching up past like 6 inches still feels weird. but if you do it enough your body gets comfortable with it... or so the pros say :lol:

After about 300 wheelies over 2-3 days I have it down to muscle memory. But if you don't do it for a week or two you start all over again but its more about getting over the initial fear. I really thought I could loop my 160hp beast but its almost impossible with my height/weight. The video doesn't do it justice, those wheelies are about 2ft high. I confirmed with a riding buddy who was watching lol.

well i plan on learing on my sv just so if i dump it i wont feel bad cause its my beater bike lol i love it tho. i just wanna learn befor i get a better bike. so i dont have to be even more scared of learning cause of the machine im on costs alot and i dont wanna throw it on the ground

I was able to power wheelie my brothers naked SV650. Those things are such awesome bikes. After "upgrading" to a C14 I immediately feel the need to have a small lighter beater bike. Bikes should not cost 15k+ and get whatever the mpg is currently in my sig.

I wanted to get something really nice and something that will hold me and the wife. I'm looking to buy a house in the next couple months so I have a feeling I can pick up a cheap dirt bike for hooligan riding now that i'll get a garage.

ive been playing around with that idea. motard or something. street legal dirtbike status. every one seems to have them and have a blast with them. but its like 9k for new one and the used ones may or may not have been abused or dropped, its a gamble

A cheap klr650 or dr650 can be had for 2-3k in OK condition, then make the supermoto swap for 1200 wheels/tires. Racetech or other springs front/rear is like 250-300 if you change yourself. Maybe have 4500 total into a heavier/slower SUMO but for riding around like a douchebag even a 250 can be fun to wheelie and go up/down stairs/curbs and whatnot.
