Ludicrous Speed....GO!
What is going on?! I go by Ludicrous Plaid and I ride a 2005 Hayabusa. I have previously owned a couple of GSXR 750s, a GSXR 1000 and CBR 1000. My wife also rides a Buell XB12STT. I have lived on Oahu for a year and a half, but I am orignally from Texas. I have also lived in Washington and Arizona.
I have been riding daily for a little over 12 years, but I have dirt and street experience going back around 30 years! I am a current MSF Rider Coach, but I don't get to teach very much due to a hectic day job schedule. I am new to Motovlogging, but I already enjoy it very much.
I'm looking forward to honing my skills with the camera and editing. I only have a handful of videos, but plan to make at least one a week. Take care and stay safe!

Welcome to the community. Wow, what I would not do to live in Hawaii. :) I live in Arkansas. There is a lot of twistie roads here in Arkansas. One of them is the Arkansas Dragon, and the Pig Trail. There is going to be an upcoming event for bikers here in Arkansas that I try to attend on a yearly basis. It is about a few miles from my home. It is Bikes, Blues, and BBQ. This is their website at: http://www.bikesbluesand bbq.org . It is second I think to the Sturgis Rally. I look forward to seeing your videos. I subbed ya. I also have a Go Pro Hero 3+ camera, and I have the Sena SMH 10 Communication device with the boom microphone. I have a 2014 Honda CTX 1300 Deluxe. When you get a chance, check out my channel. :)

I would love to go to Hawaii at some time and we could all ride together. Let your kin know about it, and maybe I will see them at the Rally.
If you needed a place to stay during the rally, I bet I could let you and your wife stay at my place as long as you all paid for your own food. :) I have a video of last year's rally on my channel. I will get more of it hopefully this year.

Hawaii's a pretty place - different than I thought it would look :o . I was thinking more tropical for some reason :p .

Thanks! I wanted one for a long time I said in the video. I just didn't want to give up that super sport handling. Hawaii is very tropical in some areas! I can see now how it may not look that way in some of the vids. As for becoming a Rider Coach, just like any job you have to apply! I took all their courses multiple times over the years (BRC, ERC, Sport bike course). I applied and based on experience and interview, I was accepted to the course to become a Rider Coach. They cover teaching in the classroom as well as on the range. Everything is graded. At the end of the 10 day course you either make it or not. Then you have to teach so many classes every two years to keep up your certification.

That would be nice! Thank you! My wife and I plan to do plenty of traveling once we move back to the main land in a couple of years.

Yeah, That would be great. You are welcome. If you come to the states next year, there will be a Ozarks meetup possibly sometime during Memorial Day weekend. I
t is usually around that time. Check the forum in here when it happens. It is usually in Clarksville or Russellville, which is about maybe a 2 1/2 hour ride for me.

Most of it is filmed in town (Honolulu). They have filmed out at Kuoloa Ranch though. That's North of Kaneohe Bay and the filming location of "Lost" and "Jurassic Park". Oahu is not all that big, so at most I'm a half hour from almost everywhere.
