New MotoVlogger From Jacksonville, FL

Hey everyone - Not sure how I found this site, but I am glad I did. I am a new MotoVlogger and am learning the basics. I've got my cam(s) (more details below), my bikes, my Adobe Premier Pro and lots of ideas.

I have been riding for 28 years (yeah, I know, some of you haven't been alive that long, I am OLD at 54). I've blogged in the past since and been posting on chat sites since the Comp-U-Serve days and actually, before that using IRC. I have five current bikes 1) 2014 Ducati Panigale 2) 2014 Harley VRod 3) 2013 Harley CVO Road King 4) 2006 Harley Screamin Eagle Fat Boy 5) 2003 Harley Anniversary VRod

I have been watching some of you guys on YouTube and am totally impressed by the quality of your work and riding. I've gotten the bug.

I know I can't post a link yet, but my channel is the same as my username here, you can search for me. I've only got a few vids up so far and am starting out at one a week. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Crap, forgot the camera setup like I promised. I have two Go-Pro's a Hero 3 and Hero 3+. I generally wear the cam on my helmet but I am looking to mount one on whatever bike I am riding that day and do a two camera thing.

Ronin:Wow, that is very nice of you! Thanks! I agree on the URL's - so easy to remember - not. I am going to try and get a website up at (link removed for rules reasons) this weekend as a better landing page. I own the domain and use the email, but I've not had a chance to craft a half way decent looking homepage. Argh, creativity is so time consuming! ;-)

The Palatka and St Augustine areas are some of my favorites to ride. I love the back country roads with just a hint of twisties (as much as we get in FL)!

Hopefully the weather holds up. I love FL, but that damn afternoon thunderstorms are annoying. But I did get a good ride in this morning on the Panigale.

That is on the agenda for this week or next weekend. I wanted to get used to the bike before vlogging on it. Actually Chase's series on the Panigale is what got me interested in it. I am very glad he did not get hurt too badly, but it was heartbreaking to see the poor bike basically without a front end. But, that is what insurance is for.

I know SoFla well. I lived in downtown Ft. Lauderdale for 7 years and travel to Boca Raton about twice a month (via bike of course). I like JAX a bit better as the riding up here is more varied.

ehh i talk to myself all the time so its not like thats going to be an issue. just the coming up with good things to talk about and not just random thoughts thats going to be tricky for me but im sure i will do fine once i get it going

I had to zoom in to see what your avatar was - very very cool. From a distance, on a small screen and with my crappy eyesight, it kind of looked like a blue tree frog on a branch. Yup -I can't see and I ride motorcycles!

I ride in SoFla quite a bit as my company's HQ is down there. and YES, as soon as you hit the Palm Beach county border, the drivers go mental! I hate riding down there. JAX is much more rural and lot more fun to ride in. If you every come up this way, let me know and I will show you some north Florida beauty roads!

Hi oidirk. I'm also from Jax, and I'm also new to the forum (I just got here yesterday.) I left Jax about 14 years ago, and moved to Hawaii. I'm coming home to visit family in September though. Have fun, and stay safe brother.
