Yeah, I've heard of this before.
Thing is, Here over west, The popo have undercover bikes and their riders have helmet cams to catch people in the act using mobile phones and what not.
If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

I get that the cam would be illegal (if you mounted it with a huge bolt)
but i dont see how it can be a bad thing. you record the events to your accident. that helps!

If you're smashing your face hard enough push a bolt through a helmet and Into your face... You're gonna have problems regardless . So I agree with the people who say it's unsafe, But it's only as unsafe as smashing your face in the first place

A question I'm not sure of tho is ... You're not required to wear a helmet in my state in the US so how illegal is helmet modification, If you don't even have to wear one?

not that you would ever get stopped for that...I suppose the shell integrity is somewhat effected but i doubt there is any damage to the internal structural protection. I wouldn't drill into my helmet though :lol:
