Mp4 Recovery Tools???

I recently had to recover some mp4 files and now they won't work. Anyone have any free tools to make mp4 videos work again?

Are you sure the codec on your computer isn't the issue?

Nah man. I accidentally deleted some files before I copied them on my computer. I used an "undelete" tool and got them back but they won't play now. I'm pretty sure I've just lost them.

Sometimes when you recover files it does not resting the correct file extensions...do the have an mp4 extension.... Have you tried to force your player to play the file to see if the video tracks will play( by this I mean right click file and use open with option rather than just double clik)

unfortunately most of them suck... if you are trying to do it off an sd card... however if you do it on your computer i believe you can recover them.. that is before a restart.. theres a couple of software out there that is freeware...
