Motorcycle Silencer Repacking

Hi,
This short video shows how to repack an exhaust baffle for your silencer. This baffle type just has a bolt to undo to allow you to remove it, others are riveted in so would require drilling out (thanks @EDcase for the heads up).

Awesome! Some folks say loud pipes save lives. I am one who disagrees since cars are so sound resistant and their radios are so good.

I would rather hear a bike with a mellow purr than an elephant farting.

I think this will always be a noisy bike, but if I can get it to a level that doesn't utterly piss all my neighbours off when I leave for work at 05:30 it'll be a win for me!

Truth.. I can't stand the sound of obnoxious fart cans. Especially these guys that think their Honda's sound good with straight pipes. I love my Honda but I'll never straight pipe it. It just sounds terrible.

Loud pipes doesn't save lives, but it does get people to somewhat notice instead of total oblivious of your presence. Rivet types are harder to re-pack unless you have a rivet tool to close it up after.

You CAN repack them with a hand riveter that cost 5 quid, don't watch the youtube vids that say you must have an air riveter etc.
