Greetings, folks!
MotoNoob coming at you LIVE from the first state of Delaware here in the good ol' US of A. I'm relatively new to motovlogging (and riding for that matter!) -- I started recording a few months back after doing a lot of research and investing time and money into gear, equipment, software, OH YEAH, and a motorcycle. I talk about riding as a n00b, life, the universe, and everything.
So, I'm currently riding a 2002 Honda Shadow 750 -- not too bad for a first bike. I used it in the Summer and Fall primarily as a commuter bike and for short rides, but after about 5 months of riding, I've realized I've outgrown it. As soon as I can get it sold, I'll likely be picking up a 2013 Yamaha Stryker that I've had my eye on for a little while now.
Not too shabby, eh?
In any case, getting my MC endorsement has always been on my bucketlist, so I got that checked off this year. I hadn't even really thought about getting into motovlogging, but earlier this year, I was at a conference in Denver, and I just happened to win a GoPro Hero+. Old school, but serviceable for recording 720p @ 60fps, so I bought some mounts, got a voice recorder to capture audio separately, and boom. I'm a freakin' motovlogger now!
In any case, it's been cold as hell here in Delaware, so producing content has been a challenge. I'm looking forward to warmer winter weather and the spring to get back into the swing of things... in fact, I just ordered my GoPro 5 today! I'll be using that on my helmet, and putting the other GoPro on the handlebar for a second camera angle. Can't wait!
In any case, I'm done here for now! Search for MotoNoob on YouTube and drop me a sub -- I'm the second one on the list (see my avatar here for reference). ANY sub will be immediately reciprocated.
Peace out, guys and keep it shiny side up!
