You have to pay to park in there, the train station is next to it and is free, there would be better! What time are we thinking? i need to be home by 3 to get ready for work, so a morning meet would work better for me, don't know about those with distances to travel though!

At the moment were meeting at midday, and itll probably tak an hour to get from yours to milton, so you'd have a couple of hours with us, unless I can change the meet time to say, 10.30 or 11.00 so we would get more out of the day

10 to 11 would be better for me, as i'd have to set off again at 1.30, but if this isn't ok for others then we'll stick as it is :)

There is a good chance I might be able to make this now, got a GPS and just ordering a headset for it. So need an excuse to try it out :) Also the wife is away for the weekend visiting her parents!

About places to go, never been there but http://www.lazy-otter.com/homepage.htm looks interesting its just up the A10 from Tesco meeting place and if its good weather lots of outside seating by the river. Get a soft drink and a bit of bar food to replenish?

Awesome! that would work, then that's ok for a little bit more on the bikes before i have to disappear, there is a certain beauty to the flatness of the fens!

Looks like a go for me to meet up and after I'm off to Norwich so a nice long day in the saddle. Good test for me and my GPS lol.
How many going now?

Myself, yourself, curly, vaderbiker, theuntamedbiker, and maybe a mate of mine (used to race)
Should be a fantastic day :)

Come on your GPZ, do everything Sunday :)
We could shoot a farewell video for you :P

I not spending a moment longer on my GPZ than I have too. I can't have a new bike and not ride it for 3 days! Post office is shut on a Sunday, so can't tax it.

Bikermole, the route via haverhill would mean we would need to go through central cambridge (which i don't know at all) or we use the A14 like you planned, which would you prefer?

I dont mind, but I have a satnav that sits on my screen In case we get lost!, so its up to you. I did 80 miles of dual carridgeway riding last weekend so I'm used to it!
