Mac Users - How To Play From The Sd/device Without Importing?

Moved to MAC - I'm liking it!

However, I've discovered that you have to import files from a drift/GoPro/device before you can play it?

Can view files direct off my Drift no problems, either by double-clicking to open in Quicktime, or pressing space to view in quicklook

Don't know why you wouldn't be able to, it should be the default behaviour...

Dismiss iPhoto or photo booth or what ever else comes up and just use a finder window or open the device that mounts and appears on your desktop.

One more thing, if you delete files from your camera or SD card, empty the trash before you unmount. Osx creates a .trashes file that holds trash info and shadows the space on your card from being used, meaning your card will say full when it shouldn't be. I found this out the hard way and had to miss out on a load of footage when I was away due to reformatting the card to get the capacity back.
