I wont lie, while I am working I just wear my ACU's with a Tourmaster jacket, helmet and gloves.
When I am not working I wear everything.
Not a good excuse but I work 5 minutes away from my house and the speed limit doesnt go above 30 MPH.

Get a leather 2 peice you will eventually want one and they comfortable enough for general riding

Kevlar jeans with knee/shin armor inserts in. I've gone down in regular jeans before at 10-15mph and my knees were rashed, bloody and bruised for a good month.

I ride every single day, whether to school or work. I pretty much just wear my textile jacket, gloves and helmet.

I've been looking into getting some Kevlar jeans but I haven't found any that I like yet.

I just bought some kevlar leggings from GoGo Gear, super excited someone is making something for women. They have knee inserts as well.

For awhile there Icon had lots of closeouts on textile Overpants. It was like they were phasing out several options. They still do have some on closeout.

I ride in some textile pants while board shorts underneath in summer on the weekends.

They are pretty much mostly mesh on the front.
