I use jacket + kevlar and jeans. Usually use the knee guard that I got freely from a friend.

Try to find the best gear you can afford. Be it pre-owned, online or locally. Being in the insurance biz, most accidents happen within a 5 mile radius. Comfort zone and guard lowered. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

I wear the same things for all riding, mainly casual. I don't like traditional textile jackets or leathers.

My daily riding gear consists of RST Kevlar Jeans and an Armadillo City Jacket, alongside TCX Infinity boots.

They're not! I use some ex-military (so cheap and decent quality) waterproof over trousers. Small to store in the top box, never leak. Win win

I only have one set of lowers I always wear; draggin jeans. They have served me well so far. They're obviously great for riding and still comphy to wear when I am off the bike walking around or at the pub etc

Kevlar jeans are the best choice for all-round casual riding. I use a couple different ones, but I love my Triumph brand ones that have the removable knee pads. If the weather gets crappy, slip on some rain pants over the jeans. Otherwise, leathers are the best bet for protection for sure!
