The bike can't do anything unless you tell it to do it! Whose the captain of the ship? It's not taking you for a ride... it's the other way around! So grab it by the scruff of the neck and tell the bike that you're the boss now!

CONFIDENCE is the key!

Also call it a dirty little bike & smack the pillion seat a few times. as your doing it the bike might start to perform.

I find that I let the cluck out sometimes just slow enough that the bike will just quietly shut off, I don't really stall that much except for those instances. What everyone else is saying seems to hold true sometimes

Got to be careful with a cluck... Let it out too fast and you'll have a full blown cluck-arrrk!!!

Well, at the beginning I kept clucking my fuck.. I mean, fucking my clutch, but, now it's all pretty fine. I've only stalled on-road once since I passed le CBT.
