So I've done some experimenting with my ONE X2 so far and I like it, I think I can use it the way I want to.
However, yes the video quality is not up to Hero 7+ levels when reducing the field of view (FOV) down to a "normal" camera look. That said, as long as I back the FOV off some and keep a little bit of fisheye going on the vid quality is useable IMHO.
Here are screen grabs from some ONE X2 test footage I took with the kind of FOV I'd like to utilize:
One issue I have is the way I have it mounted, the GoPro arm parts I'm using result in the ONE X2 shaking a tiny bit while riding and this might be causing some motion blur for me. I ordered a better RAM B ball mount setup yesterday and I hope it makes the camera perfectly stable. If not it will still be a better mounting setup anyway so money well spent!
Still learning the Insta360 Studio editing software but it seems easier than I expected, in fact its kind of fun and it makes me feel like a Hollywood director deciding where I want the camera to look at every moment. It does take time but I think with more practice I can get pretty quick with it.
Looking forward to making my first motovlog with this ONE X2!
