Well I've learnt Vegas now and I don't think I could cope with having to relearn all the shortcuts again even if I wanted to make a switch.

I know this is a bit old now, but i agree with the purchase of a mac. i have a 2013 mac air, and as of yet it out performs all of my friends laptops when it comes to video editing and what not, and the specs on it are lower than theirs as well. But to each....

I use iMoie for all of my stuff. I think it's great. I'm not making feature films but I do have a lot of fun with it.
