Serious How Your Bike Is Stolen In Seconds

don't waste money with a cheap disk lock though.... they can be removed as fast as a steering lock and even a decent chain won't stop them lifting the bike away if it isn't chained to the deck! (FML - bye bye 10hr old KTM from my locked garage with a decent lock/chain and cheap disk lock a few years back)

True but a lock may be enough for them to move on. that's all you can hope for at the moment.

You'll only stop the opportunist thief, not the determined "professional" bike thieves like the guys in your vid. They don't care about making noise, being seen and will hurt those that try and stop them.... someone needs to put them under a bus.... ****ing **nty scumbbag ***t ***sers

Man...the people just walking by watching that bike get stolen...unbelievable. Human nature never fails to astound.

They are notorious for lashing out at folk with hammers and wrenches when confronted, utter scum
How nice it would be if law enforcement would just look the other way if an upstanding person decides to run these guys over and put a riveting hammer to the back of their skulls for good measure and silence them.

Vehicle thieves should get the death sentence.. Because stealing is always something predetermined or planned, one doesn't simply "accidentally" steal something. It's always intentional.

After falling victim to theft myself. Its shocking to actually see the statistics of theft of motorcycle in the UK. I'd say it takes less than 5 minutes to steal. I'd dread to think what some people's premiums are like within the M25.

When you have ART lock you have a big change they take the bike next to yours, too sad these rotten apples get nothing even when they get caugt

Anyone see that post about the guy who locked his bike up with multiple locks in London.. There was no ground anchors or any street furniture close enough to the road. so he locked it to a pole on the pavement that wasn't obstructing any pedestrian traffic whatsoever........ When he returned the following day he had a parking ticket.

He did say he will be challenging it, and damn straight too. London is beyond a joke at times lol

London is a joke mate! These people will literally steal anything they can get their hands on. I even had my brand new rain cover stolen off my bike last week -£40 :(

They usually steal the covers to put on bikes they've stolen. Or to see yours to come back for it.

B*tards I tell you.. Yeah I was thinking the same that my bike is now a potential target, so I've changed motorcycle bays. Plus I've got a oxford boss lock going through the back sprocket and a mammoth chain to the fence, (definitely put them off when they took that cover off). Also I'm going to invest in an almax chain at some point before getting my new bike, so I'll have three forms of security altogether.

Almax is the way to go buddy. But no matter what angle grinder will go through anything, the safest form of security is either Garage with deadlocks/bolts either side. or your living room / kitchen / conservatory. Burglary is treated as a more serious crime than vehicle theft oddly enough
