How to Censor That Sh!t in Adobe Premiere

Excellent tip! I'm installing Premier tomorrow, so will be watching quite a few of your vids.

Cheers!

This is WAAAAY easier than what I was doing. I'll try to swear a little bit more now that I won't have to spend 3 minutes bleeping each word :P

Instead of cutting the bad audio, I keyframed and lowered the volume on the bad words, then I added the bleep on another track. The keyframing took a long time because you had to add 4 for each word, one to mark the beginning, another to lower the volume, one to keep it low and another to bring it back up.
It is time consuming but had the advantage of being reversible after encoding. I never silenced the bad audio, with a couple tricks you could bring it back to normal to hear what I tried to hide.

Thats true! You could do the same, and cut the audio, then just bring the level to Zero and keep it there, then if you wanted to undo it, just mute the entire censor track and bring all the cut levels back up. Encode a clean and dirty version :)
