They’ll also take ages with the insurance company to make sure everything that isn’t standard is marked as insured, even a sticker which technically is modified... the legal books coming.

The other hand is - we’ll turn a blind eye to the smaller plate, barely legal track tyres and not bother that the baffle you’ve removed after the MOT has ‘got stolen’ unless you be a dick

That's kinda how most cops around where I live are. However every now and then you get some asshole that was just born an asshole. With the all the tension with cops and such that's going on here now I always try and be very respectful.
