Hi everybody,
My name is Wim: 30-something, English teacher, father of three, living in Belgium with wife and kids.
I started riding bikes two years ago when I bought a small Vespa.
Some months later, they announced a change in Belgian law, making it more difficult (and more expensive)
to pass your motorcycle license. So, I went out and got mine, while the old rules were still in place.
Shortly after I upgraded from my GTS125 to a 250, but it didn't take long for things to start 'itching'.
My first introduction to 'real' bikes (not knocking on Vespas, still love them) was so promising, that I just had
to scratch the itch.
So two months ago, I bought my first proper bike: a Suzuki GS500F.
2005 model, I'm the third owner, runs great. Reliable little engine, perfect for new riders.
As I was looking up information on riding and motorcycles, I was drawn to the moto-vlogging on YouTube.
And when I got my DriftHD camera a few weeks ago, I decided to give it a go myself.
So far, I've posted 5 videos. Three real vlogs, in which I actually discuss motorcycles/gear/life. And two short ones,
to fill the gap as I was on holiday with the family.
I'll post a link to my channel here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/W79vlogs?feature=watch
My latest video is on countersteering. I've also done one on why I ride (easy question, long answer) and a review of my helmet (the Lazer Monaco).
Don't be deterred by the low view count. I've only posted these videos on one forum so far, not much of an audience yet.
Let me know what you think! I always like to hear other people's opinion on my work.
Cheers
