Hey there motovloggers!

Name's Gadfly and I am an aspiring motovlogger, I have the camera but not the audio.....It doesn't stop me from still filming my rides. I am on a mission to show others that my little slice of Tennessee has great roads to ride right outside their back door, and that anyone can find a good road if they just try to get lost. I currently ride a 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 but I of course have my little Honda Ruckus which I love. I've been watching motovloggers for some time now and decided I wanted to join that culture. I talk to myself when riding anyways....why not film it and maybe someone else might enjoy it. I am filming on a GoPro HD 1, crappy thing is no microphone port so I'm having to sort that out by way of an independent voice recorder and syncing it up in editing.

Just wanted to drop in and formally introduce myself I hope to get my audio up and going real soon but for now please enjoy my rides on their own! This is my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/TH3G4DFLY/ ... rid&view=0 It's a slow process for my channel but I think I'm making progress.

Now some pics of my 2 wheeled toys.

I look forward to getting to know people here and sharing a seat side view of small town Tennessee and what it has to offer bikers.

Yes I do take it off road quite a bit, when I know we're going out into the country to get lost I'll take the Ruckus for good off road fun. I have some videos of us on them going out and about I'll have to post them up. The ninja 650 is a great bike, I'm 6"5 and having a more up right posture is great I'm not all bent over like I am on my old CBR.

Excellent! Welcome to the forum. Another ruckus owner, too cool. We had another guy with a Ruckus join not too long ago. The 650r looks great too, really like the styling for what kind of bike it is.

How tall are you?

When looking for a first bike for myself I sat on many bikes. 600cc was out of the question, I'm like Sasquatch on a toddler's bigwheel. I didn't get to sit on a 650 yet though. If you're anywhere near 6'5 your opinion would be great to have on the 650 ninja.

Oh, all that and a big ol WELCOME on the side.

Yes I am 6"5 and while I still feel larger than average on my Ninja it's still a pretty decent sized bike. I really didn't want to get a straight touring bike or a dual sport bike. I don't know if you've seen my videos but my helmet cam ones might give you a decent idea of the size of the bike on a 6"5 dude. Riding for over an hour straight though I can really feel it in my left knee more than anything. I'm not bent over on the bike, it's honestly a really comfortable bike save for the whole knee thing. I'd look into a ninja 650 they sold me on the handlebars and ride position.

I thought so. I'm also 6'5 and have been looking for my first bike for a few weeks now.
I'll see about getting my butt on a 650 before I pull the trigger on the bike I'm fixing up (maybe buying).
