Hi everyone!

First, I want to start by saying what a positive community you've all created here. I've been reading through a lot of the content and have yet to find a negative comment. It seems like everyone supports each other in their motovlogging endeavors, and thats exactly why I joined.

A little about me:

- My name is Dave. (MrHeresDave on Youtube and Twitter)
- I'm currently splitting my time between Cape Cod/Nantucket Island/New York City.
- I have a degree in Film with a focus on screenwriting and production.
- I work in the film and entertainment industry six months a year, and spend the other six tooling around on my motorcycles.
- Currently I have five motorcycles. My daily ride is a 2010 BMW R1200GSA, but I also have a 1999 Kawasaki KLR650, a 1987 BMW K100RT, a 1972 Honda CB350, a 1979 Kawasaki KZ400 I bought for my lady friend.
- I'm not sure I would consider myself a motovlogger per se, rather a guy who makes motorcycle related content. I do have a little segment I'm working on, "Bedtime Stories," that seems to fit more inline with traditional motovlogging... if there's such a thing!
- In terms of a camera setup, I'm still playing around to find out what works best for my applications. I've turned to the MotoVlog community to find inspiration. Currently I use a GoPro Hero 3+ Black, FeiyuTech G3 Ultra Gimbal, an Audio-Technica ATR3350 lav mic, Senal MS-66-K mini shotgun mic, an Olympus VN-722PC recorder, Energizer LED panel light for night shots. I also have a Canon T4i for off motorcycle shots along with various tripods and dollies, etc... In terms of editing, I bounce between an older version of Final Cut Pro and iMovie.

Anyway, I want to thank you all for welcoming me into the MotoVlogging community. I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from all of you. If there is anything I can do to help the community, please let me know! In the meantime, have a look at my Youtube channel and website!

Thanks guys! I'm temporarily living in West Yarmouth. I've been stumbling upon some really awesome villages on the mid/outer Cape.

Welcome :) ! I see you do little tricks in your videos straight from the entertainment industry which is cool ;) (wide-angle time lapse camera shots, clapping of hand to sync, etc... I work in television - little tricks of the trade ;p ~). Hope you come back to the forum soon - many would probably love to get your take on some things ^_^ !

I'm glad you picked up on the little tricks! When you shoot 98% of the stuff alone shortcuts really make the difference. I'm about to check out your channel now... beware!

And as for anyone else wanting my take on things, I'm more than willing to provide my two cents. I'm going to make an effort to hang around these parts more often. I always like what I see.
