Hey everybody I'm new to the forum and have been posting vlogs for a few months now on YouTube. I'm from the U.S. (Illinois) and ride a 2008 WR250X supermoto. I got into vlogging to promote the WR250X's and supermoto's in general. I ride on road/ off road and release new vids every Monday and Thursday with hopes of bumping up to three videos a week once summer break starts and I can record more often. My video's consist of vlogs, gear reviews, part reviews, an editing series (updates coming soon), and some video responces; with hopes of filming some group rides in the future!

I use a GoPro Hero with a Sony IC Recorder and use Audacity, Gimp, Handbrake, and Lightworks to edit/ upload my content.

hey if you don't mind me asking, what do you use audacity for in relation to vlogging? I have it for music videos and what not, I'm just curious if it has some relation to using an external mic while vlogging considering I use almost the exact same set up.

Before I changed mic setups I got a lot of wind noise. I used audacity to help cut some of the wind noise out of my videos. Since I've changed setups and have the mic in the right position I rarely have to use the program anymore. I have a 2 part video on "removing" wind noise using audacity in my editing series playlist.
