Side note: Footle, just seen you live in Liphook! You going on the A3 up there? As i know Liphook and surrounding areas pretty well and have to go past Liphook so could meet you halfway up

Indeed I will be going down the A3 to petersfield then across to loomies in the evening. Unfortunately I can't get wedsnday off so I will be at loomies in the evening Dunno If you are going to the whole day or not but if you are at loomies I guess I will see you there

Why don't you all go to boxhill? Then figure out a route from there across to boxhill? my reccomendation would be to maybe go boxhill, down to pulborough, across to petworth then on to petersfield then from there to loomies. Petersfield is a nice town so maybe ride round there a bit? it's also just down the road from loomies

My problem is that its a 220 mile ride for me to go to loomies! I'm happy to go, but I'll make a decision on the day regarding the weather. I've got waterproofs, but I'm not the most confident wet weather rider!

My front tyre is almost bald in places so if it's tipping down I'm a no, plus my waterproofs aren't waterproof anymore :/

My boots aren't waterproof either. I scraped my left boot off the ground a few times on saturday, and promptly ruined any chance of them being waterproof
