Hi all,

I live in the Tampa area of Florida and might be joining a bit too soon.

First of all, I've been riding motorcycles since 1986. However, after buying a house last year, I'm stuck on a 49cc scooter (and love it for around town) until late this year when I can afford to buy another motorcycle.

Also, I had a cam, but it wasn't really what I wanted so I returned it and have ordered another from Amazon that I'm still waiting for.

So, that's me. I've joined a Motovlogging website before having a motorcycle or camera and the only videos on my youtube account are rubbish (yes, I realize that this is probably the worst introduction ever). However, I'm here and love bike and filming, so it can only get better.

The 1080p cam went back because it was too hard to find a 2.5 mic and an adapter didn't allow me to close the back.

I found a Drift HD 720p for $79.99 (new) at Best Buy and am now up and running (using an old digital voice recorder and a mono mic until the stereo one I ordered on Amazon gets here).

I'd like to add that I did buy a new bike earlier this month, so I'll be motovlogging from that and my scooter.

Welcome to the forum, I got a refurbed Drift HD170 but couldn't find a drift mic anywhere here in the UK, only place I could see them was in the States, so this is what I had to do...

soup, what an ordeal. It definitely helped, it made me glad that I returned the 1080 and went with the 720 and separate sound.

Haha, Tell me about it, but I think it was worth it, although I'm still toying with the idea of cutting the 2 connectors off and soldering them both together
