Gopro Hero +, Mic Adapter

You wouldn't want to fix the plug in the case, would you? How would you get footage off of the camera? Or are you talking about some kind of putty that can be removed?

Yes definitely looking into the sena, for the vlog with friends and also music:p but then I can actually take calls and stuff as well. Is it easy to set up and everything?

The sena is very easy to set up. It lasts for a decent amount of time too on 1 charge. The gopro adaptor for it is super simple just a Bluetooth connection and records in Sena's UHF Voice Mode which is just a better clarity.

Yeah the temp putty, I would just apply if there's a chance of rain

Got ya. Oh, and I woulnd't worry too much about heat shrinking the 1/8" connector. It doesn't really carry current and won't have issues if wet. It MIGHT short and kill audio, but no damage to the camera or anything. If you want to do something, maybe get a tiny piece of vacuum line and put over it. It's more easily removed than heatshrink.

The SENA backpack has limitations.
if you are recording audio from your sena, you absolutely cannot have your phone or music pumped in as well. They say you can hear the conversations on your sena on the gopro, but I have yet to experience that, actually.
My though? I'm going to try a mic splitter and input both my mic and my sena output to the gopro if that doesn't work.

so far, I have the backpack, but because it makes the whole damn gopro even bulkier than it is, I just use a wired mic.

very interested in knowing if that will work. i was thinking of the exact same thing but don't have a sena to try it.

yea, I have the same problem...they advertise that it will connect. BUT its a lie! My solution was to record audio with my phone and headset and then sync them together.

Premiere Pro is the industry standard for digital nonlinear. Or, you can go Final Cut Pro if you're on the Mac side. It's just as good.
