Yeah there's some noticeable difference from Silver to Black. If I was to get another camera and had the cash to spare, I definitely would get the Black. Only hassle with going higher res is dealing with the larger files, so you need the power in the PC to match.

It's a wonderful camera for moto vloging and the touch screen on the back is an extremely useful tool for quick camera output changes compared to the hero 3 with only the front display.
