GoPro and external recorder / editing help

Hey whats goin on everyone?

I was just curious if any of you use a go pro, with an external recorder? What I'm trying to figure out is, once you line up your video and your audio, is there any way to chop up the video and audio simultaneously, or, chop up audio on its own?

Im unfortunately using Movie Maker.

If you are recording audio and video simultaneously but on two devices, the time markers should be exactly the same.
You could use Movie Maker, depending on the version, to edit each clip and then combine them.

Corel Studio X6 just came out me I have been playing with the demo and it looks pretty good. Maybe give that a try.
