Getting Ripped off by Ebay sellers.

I managed to find a phone number for ebay which was somewhat of a miracle in itself and they informed me that the request was an automated email... which means the case is still open until the 8 day period is up at which point ebay step in and hopfully kick this guys ass.

The case is now escalated. I was limited to 2000 characters in my message to ebay so wasnt able to get in nearly as much as I would have liked. However i did include the pictures and description again and everything else i wanted to say has been said to the seller so they can see it all when they investigate the case.

You'll win, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when - I've done loads of these silly disputes over the years and eBay/PayPal loves the buyer :)

Ebay wont do anything about it, final line is I have to return it and get a 'full' refund... Not very full.

It already looks like its been fu**ed by a sledgehammer :) , shame eBay wont do anything. They usually stay on the buyers side.

Haha :D Have been planning some nasty things like that but apparently i dont get my refund until after the buyer recieves it... :( ...Guess ill have to stop mixing up this batch of thermite...

Yeh im really annoyed as apparently the ebay sytem decided on the outcome, not a human... I'm NOT legible for a return postage sticker. They can't even tell me why and the chap on the phone tells me that even a manager doesnt have either the authorisation or ability to overide the system... Something doesnt sound right to me in that skynety organisation :(

Good idea :) The customer support number is on the left of this page http://ocs.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... sPage=true You have to click the orange telephone symbol under 'contact us' and then a pop up gives you the number and a unique code to identify your call.

If you want to escalate your case the number is '08003 586 551' this numbers not available online but you might not be able to speak to them until 8 days after the case is filed.

While im at it, avoid ebay user 'anypants' I know he's mentioned he's breaking other bikes too so watch out and make sure you get some really good pictures if you are shopping for spares.
