Editing video adds a clicking noise

Hey all!

I'm using Power Director to edit video. It's supposed to be pretty good. Google hasn't given me an answer yet. When I split video, I get a "pop" or a "click" at that split. Even if I don't take anything out, just the act of splitting the video adds a click in the audio. Any ideas on how to fix this?

As a work around, maybe try dropping the sound level just before and after the split.

sounds like the fade out is going to 1% then back to 100% volume for a tad then next scene

it's called an "edit pop"

Like Ariderslife said, simply try and fade the audio at the start and beginning for like a split second. (or where ever the "edit pop" happens.)
