Cyberlink Powerdirector 12, chose it by looking at reviews and trying the demo... Pretty fucking good..
I use Finall Cut Pro X, i took a few courses on video editing before i started motovlogging, but this one is my favorite of them all. I previously had adobe premier, iMovie, windows movie maker and sony vegas and camtasia studio. Im definitly a Final Cut Pro person![]()
agreed ...Sony Vegs Pro all the way... easy to use and fast enough to render![]()
If your camera outputs AVI,MP4 or MOV then you could always use the GOPRO Studio software. It is free to download, has some good tutorials and is not bad for a free program...I'm curious as to what you folks use for editing your videos. I use WMM right now, but it's starting to bother me. There's a massive difference between the audio/video timing while editing and while watching the final product outside of the program.
Now, being a broke post-secondary student I'd prefer a free program, but right now anything is better than WMM, I'm starting to realize.

Final Cut Pro X? £199/$299 in the Mac App Store, other places may be, er, cheaper...
iMovies doesn't seem to be so bad though, if it does everything you want it to, no point buying anything else really.
