... i am interested in learning the 'how to' of the blur process though... so i'll still have a crack at something...

You cannot get done for a traffic offence in Aus after 12 months.

Is that really the case? Where'd you hear that? Do you have the legal source for that? I genuinely want to know because there's some shit I'd like to upload in about 12 months time

The 12 months thing .. It does depend a little on what it is.... Like a hit and run video grab can be used as evidence in court longer than that... But it has to be 'obtained through investigation' before the time expires.. Subsection of statute of limitations I think? ... Legal eagles on here tear it up if they want.. :roll:

Like red light cameras or speed cameras .... They have to get the infringement notice to you within 6 weeks .... Or let it slide... UNLESS you are involved in an accident during the photo... In which case ..'I think' ... They have to inform you that the is a situation involving your vehicle that is under review ..... ?

This is not something I have been told 'on the record' by a legal person... Rather a filtered result of several years of hearing 'what my mates sister said' kinda thing ..and asking a few questions of LEO's I know...

Still in general ... Unless you have the kind of anonymity and the legal process required by the law ... That the original Ghost Rider in Europe had .... Best not to show yourself doing too many serious legal infringements.... If you happen to video someone else though!! ... Or your mate happened to video it and failed to catch your ID/Plates ... Then it's only observing the breaking of the law...not actually participating in it! .... Bit of a grey area there!
