Ducati Diavel Vlog

I saw my friend Chanelinked was on here, so I figured it might be a good resource for camera/mic setups and maybe find some local SoCal people to meet up with for rides.

The profile area said I need ten posts to add my youtube channel as my website, so I figured an intro would be the best place to start.

I'm kuhlka on youtube if you're into video games, Ducati (Diavel/1098), Subaru (BRZ), hauling ass down canyon roads, Southern California, DIY projects, or the occasional political stuff.

Welcome :) ! Here's your channel:

Glad to see you went with the Sony camera. 4k is overrated, though ;) ~.....

Unfortunately, it doesn't do genuine full res 4k. It's limited to 50mbit 1080p. Rich color depth, but it's honestly just massive files for no good reason. We're talking >3gb for ten minutes of footage... I'd rather stick with regular 1080p in 60fps for faster edits. Higher fps is ideal for roadkill and close call situations. Wish I'd gotten that bird smack higher than 30fps a few weekends ago.

Might have been able to zoom in and show a full-on combo-breaker on that bird if it was genuine 4k in 60fps. Felt like I fist-bumped a gorilla.

My wife gave birth to our first son back in October so I've been MIA for almost half a year. Working on rebuilding my channel now that I'm settled and have time to do a few vlogs a week. I recently started playing with FL Studio 11 and might be cool with letting people use my music for intros and outros if they link to my page. Mostly experimenting for now but I'll be posting up my projects to my page as they develop.

Best with bassy headphones

Once I get the software figured out, I'll probably get into doing tutorials for FL Studio since many I've found on YouTube are horribly rushed and confusing. Half of the time the person speaks broken English so they're hard to understand. The last time I messed with making electronic music was back in college circa 1999. Had my PC's hard drive fail completely and lost all of my work. I shouldn't have stopped making music at that point, but I got busy with Digital studio art and Philosophy as a double major after switching from Computer Science. On the upside, I'm a professional video game designer.
