Mr AusAdventure
Adventure is as Adventure does
Yep, I know that the Drift cameras have been featured fairly heavily here (both good and bad posts) but I thought one more post about the Drift could not hurt!
I just wanted to share a recent video that I did regarding the setup of the external mic on the camera and in particular the mic sensitivity settings.
I have had the camera for around 10 months and have made a few videos with it, but only recently found out that I had the mic sensitivity settings too high.
I had it set to 3 when I should have had it on 1!
This is info that I wish I had come across earlier, so I thought I would put the word out there just in case there were other Drift users having the same sort of sound issues that I had.
It did my head in for a bit I can tell you. But now I have pretty good sound in my helmet! Yay!
Anyway, you can check out the video that I did below. The top link is to the video with good quality sound.
The link under that is to a previous video with inferior sound if you wish to compare the difference between the sensitivity settings.

Cheers.

P.S. How do you embed the videos into the posts here? I have tried a few options and only the code is showing up in preview.
