What chicken strips?
I've made a useful discovery about the Ghost 4K:
The cam has a live streaming function but to use it via the Driff app is a bit of a faff. Well last night while messing with the cam and the streaming services, I discovered that I can create a config file and put it on the cam's sd card. The config file contains recording parameters, wifi connection info and streaming account login details. When I switch on the camera the first thing to appear is a question "Start live streaming? Yes/No". If I tap yes, the cam switches to the desired resolutiuon/framerate, connects to wifi, logs into streaming account, and starts recording the live stream, all without another interaction.
So far the config-file auto-stream system has worked without a hitch, and when I'm out and about I simply use my phone's mobile hotspot as the cam's wifi connection.
Once the stream is stopped the video becomes a post and the media is kept as a separate entity. I can then edit the recorded stream (trim, add music, etc) and re-post.
Here's what I've created during testing the system: http://www.driftlife.co/posts/81457
I've been using Drift's own streaming service but Facebook is an option too; no idea why they haven't included youtube.
