Bluetooth & Hero 4

Currently I have a Hero4 and my initial workaround for keeping the water away (or at least making it less easier for water to enter) the exposed side panel of the skeleton housing is a self-cut plastic piece (off an expired credit card) just leaving the USB exposed, for the microphone, obviously.

Since then I've ordered the imitation side cover/panel off eBay and plan to just modify it, again, exposing just the USB slot. No guarantee of keeping the water out of the camera, but at least it's not directly exposed.

No pictures to share right now, will take some when I'm home.

Since your answer hasn't been answered.

The case and GP10 from Sena is water proof if you use the waterproof back casing.
But that can be annoying because you must turn the GP10 on before you put it in the case.

Cannot listen to music while using GP10 as the GP10 has priority in bluetooth channel.

Exhaust notes really toned down with Sena 20s. So you may need to edit the EQ in your video editor.

When you have others in the motovlog works really well.

Most I've had paired with the 20s and GP10 is 4 people including me.

Cheers guys was just hoping not to use the bacpac as i use a chin mount already modded my hero 3 for my existing motovlogs ..I cut out a small hole for the USB connection and use blutack (the stuff you attach posters to walls with) to keep the water out

Why do you need to waterproof, how big is the gap here?!

Ah gotcha. I have a gap in my Go Pro where my mic goes in but so far it's ok, saying that though, may bite me on the arse! I bought some never wet, should be good to keep some of the water out.
