i hate motorways/ highways etc .... it isn't an (m) road though ? im too lazy to look on google maps .

Its an single lane A road, just not that interesting. Its the best way from Northwich to Wales though, without going a really roundabout way.

The sooner we get to wales the better.

Rain forecast for the weekend :(, Remember to bring your waterproofs !!

The other option is to shift the whole meet to the south coast where it looks pretty good over the whole weekend. Justa thought...

We'll be travelling massive amounts of ground over the weekend. If we don't hit rain, I'd be surprised.

That being said, roughly working out our route and looking at the forecast, it looks like it'll actually be quite dry.

I know forecasts are often wrong, but I'm quite confident we'll miss most of the bad weather.

Oh man, I'm going to be eating my words come this weekend.

Its nearly the weekend (whoop :D) and it got me wondering about security. What is everyone else planning to do on a night when the bikes are in the Travelodge car park? The last thing we want is a twocked bike!

+1 on this.... However I do feel that the risk of rain is VERY high also we can predict there will not be much sun and the roads will be damp at the least, we should just all make sure that for those who booked the hotels that your conformation letters are printed off (would be embarrassing and a cold night otherwise) and that we all have waterproofs.

Do we have anywhere to stop and wait out the rain on the routes if it does comes down hard. Or can we find the odd spot to pull over and get shelter haha

I've got a couple of locks, and a cover. Maybe lock all the bikes together??

I'm thinking of taking quite a heavy duty lock. It's enough to attach two bikes together.

That or a disk lock at least.

Never had any problem when staying in a travelodge before, but maybe more bikes might attract more attention...

Ive got a massive thick chain that could attach 3 bikes up possibly.

would be best if everyone can bring a chain, that way we can have everyones bikes linked up .

if one bikes goes ... they all have to move lol
