Right, I thought it might not work out. Now it's back to being that it might :P

Looking at my schedule for the beginning half of this year, this may be the only time that I actually have available for a meet up.

I'm not a definite, I'm a maybe. I'll get back to you.

Put me down as a Confirmed but i have no sleeping arrangements.

Northwich is about 30mins away from me and just thinking whether its easier for me to go home and get up that bit earlier to meet everyone again in the morning. I really cant justify spending money to sleep so close to my house.

If we had the room i would have let a couple of you stay at mine but we simply wont have it on that weekend. (family visiting etc)

Gammon is always good. Especially with a bit of French mustard and apple sauce. And I'll second Friz and say I too would like to meet you.
 
From CMC - Northwhich we are only looking at a 2hr tops ride.

Now if were meeting at CMC @ 1 and maybe wait around for 3hours that will be 4pm + 2hr ride to Northwhich 6pm.

So the saturday is taken up by meeting everyone and making sure we are altogether.

But say we walk up 10am Sunday out the hotel 11am we have 7hrs of riding around Chester/ North Wales.

my question is why are we staying in Shrewsbury?


Why don't we, Sleep at Northwhich (as planned)

& head over to Anglesey or Gwydyr Park?

& from then people living south can decide wether or not to stay in shrewsbury or just head straight home ?

Sorry for throwing a spanner in, tell me to shut up if needs be. But I won't be staying in Shewsbury I'll head home after riding around North Wales. Because people that are staying in Shrewsbury are using it as a break point, so they aren't traveling further south in one go which is understandable.
 
The idea behind Shrewsbury is that it's close and easy to get to multiple motorways in all directions up, down and across the country. We can't change it now though for those that are staying, some people have already booked.

I'll book Northwhich as it works, but me traveling to Shrewsbury would be pointless. After or when we all decide to head to Shrewsbury I'll head East towards the M53.

If thats ok with everyone? As we've said Shrewsbury was just a point of a break up in the ride?
 
Yeah that's ok, I was presume the majority of people that had to travel longer distances would wan to wait until Monday before they head home. Hence shrewbury with the easy enough access to m6, m5, across to get to the m1 etc. But if you live closer to wales theres nothing stopping you heading home at sone point.
 
There's nothing stopping us from going on a massive ride around wales and then looping back to shrewsbury :)

I'm back to a likely maybe at the moment. I've managed to find cover at work but its too far ahead to 100% promise.

If your not staying at Shrewsbury I'm guna be on my own so I'll have nobody to bunk with, you staying at Norwich though?

Anyone got any spare space for the Shrewsbury hotel stop?
 
You live in dudley, why not travel home? :P if you want squeaky we can meet up and travel over to CMC together on the first day.

I suppose I could but I just feel like I'll be missing something then haha

Yeah that would be great! I'll be staying in tamworth the night before just as an head start but I can easily meet you on your way up :) how's that sound?
