people need to understand that comparing DRIFT Audio to GOPRO Audio is stupid.FKN#$%^
Drift uses MVC GoPro uses AVC.
Manual volume control vs Auto volume control.Drift will always win because it has Manual Volume control so if you use a Lav mic on drift with a condenser you will get better audio then if yu did the same on GoPro.

Audio-Technica-ATR-3350 Is the BEST option, you will need a windscreen or some foam for wind noise

I ended up getting a sony one, works and sounds great, not to keen on the powered mics, cuz I dont want to have to fuck around with batteries or one more thing that needs power

I have recently bought a cheap ass mic from Amazon- 3 of them for $6.50ish. I used to have an Olympus ME-52W and for some reason, it picked up too much noise and eventually only recorded in mono.
The cheap one I just bought is great.

I just disassembled an old Logitec headset and DIYed a connector to the mic and it sounds AMAZING ! This plus I added a 3.5 mic jack to my Contour ROAM. Cant wait to get some vlogs with this setup

I use a mic for my Xbox lol it's an astro a40 mic and it's pretty good I think. I would post a test video but I'm on my cellphone. I have a Vlog out, I can ride at 100 and you can still hear me. Iuno the mic is crazy lol
