Thanks!Welcome!
Thanks for the welcome! I think dealing with rain is nothing compared to dealing with snow/ice. The national speed limit is 110 km/h here, it's enforced if there are speed traps, certain areas have automated speed cameras, but generally you still can speed freely (but safely), just pay the fine if you get snapped.Hey and welcome!
My wife is from that part of the world... have lived there, too. Although her hometown is much further north than where you are, it's really a fascinating part of the world
. Lucky you live there ^_~ .
You certainly have more guts riding in the rain than I have. What's the speed limit on the expressways there and is it enforced
???
Ah well, you can count another sub here. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven
!
Nice looking bike, btw!
One of the things they teach us here about motorcycle riding is to be cautious of the road right after it first begins to rain. The reason being - oil, grease, car fluids, etc., bake onto the road when it's dry and when it first gets wet, it's really slippery. It might be different in Malaysia though, because it looks like it rains more often 'n washes off the road more - here, we ca go for long periods without any rain ~_~ ...Thanks for the welcome! I haven't ridden in snow before (we have tons of it during the winter) and would prefer not to because of the salt the put on the snow - bad for the 'cycle
. Ah well, winter non-riding months, what can one do
?
Back at 'ya - ride safe 'n safe ride ^_^ !
Mmh, lucky guy on that but not on the rain >< ! I never let my bike touch the rain because I'm always afraid of it rustingAll year long riding for the win!Well actually it's no fun to ride during the monsoon but some hardcore one still ride anyway.
Totally understandable. I'm not afraid of rust, but I just can't stand to see the bike dirty.Mmh, lucky guy on that but not on the rain >< ! I never let my bike touch the rain because I'm always afraid of it rusting. Whenever she does get wet, though, I give her an almost obsessive wipe down
