I ride a
2011 Harley-Davidson Crossbones; 2006 Honda VFR 800
Hey everyone. Just introducing myself.

I've just started getting my things in order to start vlogging.

My name is Michael Prins, most people on the interwebs call me reQunix (wreck-you-knicks for pronounciation). I've been riding for about 12 years, mostly sport bikes. My current weapons of choice are a black 2006 Honda VFR 800 which I've had for about 2 years and a black 2011 Harley-Davidson Crossbones which I just got a few days ago and am still riding in.

I have no experience with speaking and am a very shy person. I also like to do my thinking while riding so I thought to work on improving my ability to communicate whilst riding, that way no one has to look at my ugly mug. Turns out other people were already doing this, which makes it a lot easier.

So, cameras and other gear ordered, waiting on everything to arrive and/or come together and videos should start turning up.

YouTube channel is here: http://youtube.com/user/reQunixZA

Content won't be focused solely on motorcycling. I'm a pretty random guy. And by 'pretty', I mean 'very'.

Sorry about the accent. I am a South African. I didn't realize my accent was so heavy until I heard myself. Not sure if there are any other moto-vloggers in Africa on this forum. If there are I'd love to hear from you.

I did my first vlog yesterday. As soon as you can bring yourself to say that initial 'hello' then the rest follows naturally. If you're a little shy then try to do your vlog where there won't be anybody to look at you funny for speaking to no one in particular.

You'll be surprised at how simple it is, I was.

I stay right by Table Mountain which is very nice to look at. Also I stay in the center of a lot of wine country so there's some interesting greenery around. My Drift HD should arrive in about three weeks.

Thanks for the greetings.

I'm still waiting on my camera and sorting out the Harley's first service, but I've been riding quite a bit and have started narrating a bit - basically just talking to myself. It feels odd at first but it gets easier really quickly.

In the mean time I'll try to stop and take shots every once in a while and post them. I don't often ride with my still camera though.

Honda Hornet - With Beast Of A Micron Exhaust
I found listening to myself really weird when i started, and since then my accent has actually changed slightly as I try to talk clearer. Also I started saying aloud what I usually think to myself when I ride, then noticed today that I did it Briefly as I walked along the pavement for everyone to hear.

Took me completely by surprise, I was walking along, saw someone I vaguely knew and said hello. They didn't say anything back. And I said "well he obviously didn't recognise me" out loud, so he would have heard. 1st sign of craziness ......check.
