Premiere Elements can do motion tracking - $130 or so once off. Haven't got it to work yet, but it's there...

To be honest, I haven't been recording for over a month. If I can't sort out my editing needs at the right price, then its just not going to happen. Currently working on a mod to my Sony waterproof case to plug the external mic in directly, so no need to sync audio to video and I can use iMovie (which is free) instead of FCPX. I've got a month and a half worth of footage recorded, but only so much space and no software to combine tracks. I like to though.

Ah, that stinks about the editing part 
. It's good that you decided on the hack into your Sony housing because that's what I did and it works like a dream 
(the first generation of waterproof housing works the best for the hack... I've discovered the hard way ~). Did you see my convo by chance ???

Ive been watching alot of vloggers lately and even if your not speeding or doing maad wheelies i guarantee there will be a law you broke, i see alot of overtaking on zigzag lines and stopping in cycle boxes

In my area the problem is not that it's against the law, its that the people that enforce the law are stretched thin. Too much focus on cameras and not enough on enforcement.
