A No-pov Vlog? Thoughts On This?

The guy who rides in red
So I have recently started riding motorcycle. To be honest, I've stumbled upon a TONS of hardships while I'm still getting around to learning to ride. There are tons of things I'd love to share with fellow rides who could possibly have a similar mindset like I did, which is thinking that motorcycle riding is gonna be easy to learn and you're gonna be out in traffic in no time.

My problem: I do not have a GoPro or any other action cam I could mount on my helmet. At the same time I am feeling like if I don't put my thoughts into a video right now i might forget all these thoughts and problems and solutions that I have going on everyday, later on.

So thoughts on no-pov camera vlogs? As in filmed everything from 3rd person (since i got equipment for that).

Best,
Rider in Red

PS. here is a rider in red logo, thoughts on this?

I like the logo, I think if you film in 3rd person you'll lose that connection the viewer absorbs from pov.
I know, and that's my concern. I'm actually thinking of doing a 3rd person garage talk. Show and tell style for now. Idk. Honestly I just feel like I got tons of stuff to talk about before it becomes second nature and I forget about all that.

The off-bike 3rd person film would work out better

The angle is fine as long as you like it and the content holds interest.

Another note though is if you are "learning" still then you probably shouldn't redirect your attention to anything else. I can't stand when I hear people say "I can't wait to get a bike so I can vlog." You should first learn to ride and maneuver in various situations. Once these actions become 2nd nature then you can vlog and still be confident and focused in your riding. I rode for nearly 4 years before even thinking about a camera.
