Tbh, it's on you to regulate how much of a workload you get.
I'll suggest that motovloggers who feel that their content qualifies for the promotion would either post the link to their vlog thread in a seperate thread for evaluation or message you about it. That way non-valid vids will be...
A shout out is far from as effective as any proper inter-channel content, but it doesn't have to be a 2-way endeavor, how about video responses? Bring 2010 Youtube back in fashion! It's also a nearly free topic for when you have nothing new to say otherwise.
Yeah reenactment can be brutal in the larger events, I'm mostly in it because it's a good workout and it's not football, and as a bonus the equipment serves as a visual reference for my art. It's less of a LARP thing than it is "living history".
I have an airsoft M4 and a G36k. I wanted an L85...
Where to begin, so many hobbies.
Mainly I paint and draw, making art for games and stuff. Besides that I also participate in medieval reenactment, which means I practice hitting people with real steel swords and axes but "safely". And then do a bit of writing because I like to build fictional...
Considering a Yi 4k, About time I left GoPro behind. But then, the Yi doesn't take mics and suddenly the Hero 5 session is relevant again. Decisions decisions.
Gonna be that guy and ask, what is your hourly wage for this "job" at sub-1000 subs? Gonna be fun looking at statistics showing how many channels will become inactive because of their income disappearing.
I'll add the fact that I have been using music on top of the voice as well in the past with varying success. Almost always some kind of relaxed beat in the background. When there is a break in the talk, I turn the music up a bit. That's how it should be used IMO.
I think some do it as they might think it drowns out some of the wind noise, and to follow the current trend of vlogging.
Personally I think it's fine if the voice is clear enough to begin with, as music doesn't drown out anything.
It is the choice of music that matters.
I remember when this was common on art sites like Deviantart, turns out I still only got a few subs by trading like this. In the end it was producing art of the current meme that gained me a following. Eventually I stopped doing fanart and it all faded away.
Can't say I believe it will work...
ohey, I live near the lake where that paddleboat was located.
I'm wary of using copyrighted music not because of the ads, but rather the risk of having the vid be blocked in some countries. So I seek to use royalty-free music as much as possible. Ofc it helps to have musician friends.
I don't get why the rage is so focused on the actual monetization rather than the discoverability. With less than a 1000 subs you earn nearly nothing and you probably spend way more producing the vids anyway. Youtube makes as little money on your stuff too as they still need to host your videos...
It stops eventually. You essentially have to fight the inertia of the wheel with the mass of the chassis and yourself, with the possibility to simply roll over with the wheel.
I noticed this with C2W's recent vids. "Did I break my bike?" was the title. and sure, after the 5 minutes of advertising shaving equipment because sponsors. he eventually partially ruined some threads on his Triumph, so it's not really clickbait. It just annoys me that the title said absolutely...
I have been thinking about doing themed expeditions to explore a topic. Like racetracks/events on an eurotour, or just weird attractions in the areas I visit.
My work life looks rather hectic this summer tho, I wonder if I can do any more than weekend trips at all.
Just parroting what I heard anyway. Personally I wouldn't even bother with youtube ads, too many hoops to jump through just for a few bucks the way it is now. Besides, I need to actually produce vids in the first place.
My main goal would be to solidify the direction I'm taking my vids in I guess. And to change the way I approach weekend riding a bit, going for longer 2-3-day trips more often and vlogging them.
I also need to redo my visuals. I wanna try my hand at animation so that meshes well.
My profile already reflects it but I recently got a new bike and put together a little vid to show it off. Hopefully my audio setup works properly for vlogging while riding next week.
