I would suggest that in the 'About' section of your YT channel you tell everyone a little bit about yourself. That's normally the first place I go as it's nice to know a bit about somebody, so I have an idea about what I can expect from their channel.

I've found it the exact opposite, I tried hard to be PC and hip but finally said fuck it, here's who I am and if you don't like it then don't watch it. I don't know about others but I do the youtube thing for me as I have fun doing it and never expect to make any real money doing it.

Nah I didn't formulate properly. I meant that I've always been a quiet person, and not so outgoing, but somehow doing the vlogs and talking in my helmet feels natural to me.
