I need some opinions, been doing some research on my own, but cant figure stuff out with out an adult.

What route should I take for getting actual editing software

Here are the requirements:

• Needs to make sick #420blazeitmlg videos
  
• simple to use but has features that I can use in the future (when I suck less)
• under $200 U.S.D
• has alot of how toos on the utube (so i don't have to RTFM everytime i wanna put in effects)
• Best bang for the buck.

Right now I'm using iMovie aka BabysFirstEditor

If you like the flow of iMovie, then go FCPX, but you'll need to stretch your 200 bucks if you get it from Apple.

I think I found that period, like moving pictures, or placing your own text that isn't in the form.

It will move (if I understand your need) pictures using the keyframe function

and putting text in different locations is an easy work around...

Not my vids, just passing on info that I used to get some stuff done.

I was trying that, EXACTLY, it was coming out all choppy for me for some reason.

Best way I've found to use it is just "single" moves. Chose the start point, then advance your "movie" to the time you want, place the image to the end point and select that.
